Hannes Soomer will take part in the Suzuka 8h Endurance Race in mid-July, considered one of the season's highlights in the motorcycle world. This year, the event takes place from July 18-21, and Hannes will start as the third rider for the TONE RT SYNCEDGE 4413 BMW team. Riding with number 95, they will compete in the Superstock class, aiming for nothing less than a class victory. Alongside Hannes, Tomoya Hoshino and Ainosuke Yoshida will also be riding the BMW M 1000RR.

"At first, I had to be a backup for this race and didn't have a plan to race," Hannes said, commenting on the news. "But when I was offered this opportunity, I seized it because this is a race every rider wants to be part of. In terms of experience, it will definitely be beneficial, and it's a unique challenge since I haven't ridden on this track before and only know it from video games. Additionally, we'll be competing against Japanese manufacturers on their home turf, but I'll give my best to fight for the top spot."
