The Estonian started from P7 as the second race had reversed starting order, but climbed up and up until he finally finished second.

“I am very happy with our team and with today’s results,” said Hannes after the race. “We proved that we can prepare a bike in a small garage that can take on the best in our business, and I know I can ride it fast. We know what are the things we need to develop further and what we need to do about them. I’m still bothered by the fall in the Czechia round of the World Championships in Most because due to the broken arm my next three rounds were not as strong as they could have been. However, what happened today proves once again that we are on the right track.”

Hannes Soomer finished the season 4th (185 points), German Florian Alt (Honda) was crowned the champion with his 221 points. Ukrainian Ilya Mikhalchik (BMW, 196 points) came second. German BMW rider Patrick Hobelsberger (191 points) was 3rd, only 6 points ahead of Hannes Soomer. What comes next is a brief pause in racing and hopefully in October we will have further news as to what team Enemat Enos Motorsport plans will be for the next season.
