Hannes, riding on a Ten Kate prepared Honda CBR600RR, took a great P9 in the end of the 19 lap World Supersport race. TOP 10 finish earned Hannes 7 points in the overall standing and repeated his best result in WSS from Aragon round in Spain in April. In World Supersport Hannes took P9 but in European Supersport the first position belonged to him!
"The race was great! The start was okay and I managed to be aggressive enough in the first turns. Today was also a big for the set up of the bike and we made a huge step forward with it, which in turn is a great place to be before the summer brake. First half of the season has been pretty much as planned and it's obvious that we are moving in the right direction. The same progress has to continue in the second half of the season and during the test in the summer brake. This is the place to say big thank you for the team and everyone involved!" - Hannes
In the overall standing Hannes improved his position by 3 place with 20 points and is now on P18. In the European Supersport Hannes improved his lead on P1.
The WSS/ESS season continues after the summer brake on the 18th - 20th of August in Germany, Lausitzring.
