The 9th round of World Supersport was held today in Germany at Lausitzring. Hannes showed very good pace in the Saturday' superpole and started in P10 for today's race.

Hannes dropped to 19th in the first laps, but for the rest of the race he fought back ti finish the race on P13. In the overall standing he is holding P16 with 23 points. In the European Supersport he took P1 and is holding the overall lead.

"It was a crazy race! Start and the first section went great but then I made a riding error and lost the lead group. On lap 2 I had contact with another rider and the bike took some damage so it was difficult to keep the speed up. We can't be happy with the result because we had very good speed yesterday but combined with some bad luck  we took everything possible from the situation. Big thank you to the team who worked really hard. We will have another try in three weeks time in Portimao." - Hannes
